Finerge
For over 25 years, Finerge has worked to provide access to more sustainable energy sources to the world. Finerge is Portugal’s second-largest renewable energy producer.
Finerge operates 93 Wind Farms and 18 PV solar plants located in more than 79 Municipalities across Portugal and 6 provinces in Spain. Day and night, 886 turbines harness the energy of the Wind, and thousands of photovoltaic modules that collect energy from the sun, transforming it into clean electricity at a rate of 4.771 Gwh. All this means that more than 1,483ktons of CO2 emissions are avoided.
However, the story has only just begun...
Learning from the most sustainable source: Nature.
Founded in 1996, Finerge has evolved responsibly, sustained by continuous investment. Its evolution is set on the development, construction and acquisition of new Wind Farms and PV Solar plants nestled in strategic locations across Portugal and Spain, by innovating processes, practices, and infrastructures. Its growth is sustained through investment in its people, who have made a world of difference over the last two decades.
